The Knitting Club of Vaalwater brings together local women who use their skills to support vulnerable members of their community. A New Project: Beanies for Schoolchildren
The Waterberg Trust is now launching a focused new initiative: knitting navy blue and black beanies for children to wear to school. In the cooler months, many children in the Waterberg arrive at school without adequate warm clothing. The goal is straightforward but ambitious - to produce enough beanies so that children who need them can have one, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
