5. Roles and Responsibilities
DSL Responsibilities:

Act as point of contact for safeguarding concerns

Maintain accurate records

Liaise with external agencies

Ensure staff training and policy compliance

Staff and Volunteer Responsibilities:

Have safeguarding training

Report concerns immediately

Maintain professional boundaries
6. Code of Conduct

Avoid being alone with a child or vulnerable adult unless necessary and appropriate
7. Recruitment and Training

Where appropriate, all staff and volunteers are vetted (e.g. DBS checks)
