Lapalala Wilderness School

Lapalala Wilderness School is a non-profit environmental education centre in South Africa that runs outdoor, nature-based learning programs for children and young adults, focused on biodiversity, conservation, and sustainability.

It’s linked to the Lapalala Wilderness area in Limpopo and aims to help nurture future conservation champions, often through multi-day school camps and hands-on activities in the bush.

The Waterberg Trust has been partnering with Lapalala Wilderness School for a number of year and provides the funds for 62 children to attend a week long camp at the school each year.
